Old tenement building located in (MACAU) TRAVESSA DO GAMBOA NO. 37, EDF. VA HENG, with a usable area of approximately 40.5 square meters, two bedrooms, and one bathroom. In residential design, homeowners hope to transform this compact space into a cozy haven filled with European flair. We realize that the European style decoration in the narrow space is easy to cause visual confusion. Therefore, based on the owner's preferences, we simplified the design and incorporated the concept of modern European style, using our design techniques as the main theme of the space. Additionally, we integrated elements of different tiles to characterize the spatial ambiance. Straight from the entrance to the living room, the cupboard doors change shape according to the transformation of the space, with layered metal stone, making it not just a simple storage cabinet, but also co-shaping the canvas of the living room.

At the same time, to accommodate Chinese cooking, we used a foldable window design to address the issue of cooking oil fumes. We also ingeniously integrated with the bar as a dining table, thus weakening the sense of boundary of the living room and visually expanding the space. Behind the sofa, we created a customized metal display shelf, which is not just a display, but more like a piece of bespoke art. The stone and terrazzo on the shelf, combined with the European lines, also make it the main character of the space. This display shelf combines minimalist style with a sense of luxury, giving that wall a whole new feel. Due to the limited space in the bathroom, in order to make the owners feel more comfortable, we used a curved layout, from the customized shaped washbasin to the curved shower cubicle, to avoid as much as possible any inadvertent collision in the small space. Whether it's the joints of the tiles, the contours of the cabinets, or the metal shelves, we chose antique bronze as the accent color, so that every detail of the bathroom exudes a unique and luxurious texture.
