In crafting the home interior for this family of four, we carefully considered their lifestyle and preferences. Inspired by mid-century home aesthetics and iconic furniture, our goal was to create an inviting and warm space that perfectly suits their needs.

In the dining area, a teak wood feature wall sets the mid-century tone with its reddish hue and rhythmic pattern. It serves as a captivating backdrop for iconic furniture such as the Nelson Bubble pendant lamp, Knoll Platner coffee table, and Cassina Gerrit T. Rietveld armchair. We also crafted a 1950s-inspired TV chest, incorporating teak wood and marble to embrace the bygone gracefulness.

The mid-century nostalgia extends to the bathroom, where teak wood is integrated into the washstand and mirror cabinet, adding a sophisticated highlight to the area. Whereas, the granite flooring, typically associated with outdoor settings, imparts a sense of rustic charm to the space.

To achieve an everlasting elegance, we balanced retro and modern elements throughout the house. The wooden feature wall not only provides aesthetic appeal but also acts as the main storage system, and cleverly integrating the air conditioning system. Complemented by a pure white background and cement tile flooring, we tactically maintains a neat and uninterrupted interior, contributing ample space for the homeowner to enjoy quality time with his family.

The master bedroom and kids’ rooms embrace a modern chic, featuring minimal and neat design. The incorporation of wooden flooring brings a warm and serene ambiance to the spaces. In kids’ rooms, acoustic panels are employed to create a calm atmosphere, its vibrant palettes with wavy patterns foster a whimsical and imaginative environment for the little residents.

Overall, our design merges the timeless allure of mid-century with contemporary touches, catering to the family’s desires for an aesthetically pleasing, secure and functional living space.
