A person's life is comprised of countless choices and decisions. The concept of this project is to visualize "decisions," aiming to provide visitors with a diverse range of experiences and understandings of "decisions" while utilizing the space.

The project site was originally a substation. Due to the space's original function as storage for large electrical facilities, the ceiling height of the space is relatively high. To utilize the space more efficiently, the project is divided into three levels, with the first level serving as an exhibition area and the second and third levels housing the library, reading area, and experiential space.

The library's collection primarily consists of biographies, documenting the decisions made by various individuals across different historical periods. Upon entering the library space on the second level, visitors can access the library through different pathways. Interconnecting cylindrical spaces serve as reading areas, book storage, and staircases leading to the top level. Some reading spaces can be enclosed with sliding doors to maintain a quiet reading environment, ensuring minimal disruption. This diversity in circulation adds to the exploration of the library, making each visit a unique experience.

During the exploration process, various windows provide glimpses into other spaces. Yet, direct access to those spaces poses certain challenges akin to the effort required to alter outcomes after making decisions. It is important to cherish every book and every comfortable environment around you, not to be missed.

On the third level, visitors have the opportunity to observe how others make decisions on the lower levels. Visitors may gain new insights into decision-making by observing others and reflecting on their own experiences. This renewal of experience and thought represents the greatest value that this project can offer to its visitors.
