Home is the vessel of familial heritage, carrying not just physical presence but also emotions, stories, and the personalities of its inhabitants. Drawing inspiration from the unique narratives of our clients, we craft living spaces through artistic creation, reflecting the style that truly belongs to each individual. Therefore, "home" is not about formality but about "love"!
Concept: "Impressionist Art Gallery at Home"
Beginning with the living room, we redefine spatial perception by opening skylights, embracing an ethos of natural light. Sunlight cascades through the skylights onto diatomaceous earth walls, imprinting impressions of home. A winding waterfall-shaped bar emerges naturally, while glass jellyfish pendant lights overhead evoke a dance of water droplets on relief walls, nurturing a field of wild lilies. Screen doors adorned with butterfly and flower motifs separate dining and kitchen spaces, echoing memories of dining in gardens, complemented by Chinese ink wash paintings to enrich culinary relationships. The elevator, serving as a vertical passage, greets visitors with an atmosphere of grandeur, symbolizing ascension into the clouds—an innovative fusion of environment and function.
On the upper floors, three daughters' rooms integrate art with environment, whether it's a forest cabin for bedtime stories, a secret garden bathed in natural light, or a room for the avid traveler, symbolizing the fusion of art and lifestyle.
In the master bedroom on the fourth floor, the entrance features peony mirrors and window scenes of plum blossoms, symbolizing deep affection. Traditional Chinese ink wash paintings depict the shared journey of a couple, expressing emotions and stories.
These spaces showcase individual family members' preferences while imbuing emotional elements. Innovative environmental designs not only pursue artistic expression but also create layered, atmospheric spaces.
With the building's elongated structure, we employ the concept of "scenes emerge and vanish like villages in the mist" from traditional Chinese paintings, using spatial zoning as a planning principle. The design reflects our understanding of spatial zoning, natural elements, and artistic expression.
Overall, this design integrates various media, infusing the space with vitality while maintaining harmony and unity.
