Humanity is in a world of digital twins. This exhibition explores the relationship between the physical and the virtual world, a pair of accidentally intersecting "parallel universes", with organic life hovering in the critical zone of carbon-based and silicon-based structure. The core concern of the exhibition is to face this very threshold state.

The exhibition concept is inspired by Plato's "Timaeus" and its discussion of the five elements of the universe. Therefore, the overall space is divided into five units: "the Structure of Matter", "the Code of Life", "Transcendental Connection", "the Schema of Consciousness", and "the Mirror Image of Energy". With the idea of mixed reality, the duality of physical space and digital works is classified and compared, seeking to rebuild the experiential relationship between physical and virtual, body and mind, as viewers continuously switch between the two states.

With the multi-path, multi-perspective, and multi-theme spatial narrative, the exhibition arranges nearly 100 works from 13 countries and regions around the world, responding to the "parallel construction" of physical and virtual beings. With theatrical scenes compressing time and space, visitors are allowed to go through the path of doubt, tolerance, experience, and exploration in the shift between virtual and real, and meanwhile come forth with complex feelings about future social forms and technological prospects.

Various lighting techniques are used to create an atmosphere that integrates with the theme of the space. Between light and dark, stereotypical impressions about physical and virtual are dispelled, while providing a delicate and comfortable viewing experience. As for construction techniques, recyclable modular materials and prefabricated construction are applied to achieve flexible, lightweight transport and assembly.
