This interior design fully capitalizes on the large flat floor plan, creating a living space that is both generously spacious and luxuriously upscale.
Rooted in the profound insight of the large flat floor plan, the project goes beyond its basic functionality, focusing on the division and reorganization of the entire space. Distinct areas are thoughtfully delineated for vibrant activities and tranquil moments, all seamlessly connected through a cruciform traffic flow design. Moreover, the circular mirrored ceiling above the elevator hall creates an illusion of endless expanse, infusing the space with a refined and modern flair.
The living room features a bold rearrangement, where the TV wall and the sofa area has been transposed. This change enables occupants to leisurely relish the magnificent view of the Huangpu River from their seats. The incorporation of sleek lines and elongated shapes visually extends the space dimensions, complemented by a Bvlgari marble platform, exquisite grout lines, and magnetic lights. Together, these elements foster an ambiance of understated luxury.
Design ingenuity extends to the dining area and the tea room. The dining area features an inventive partition design—a suspended circular cabinet—preserving visual continuity without sacrificing an intimate dining ambiance. As for the tea room, it takes a departure from traditional Chinese aesthetics. Here, occupants will find a blend of modern chic and understated luxury, achieved through minimalist line design and the use of modern materials such as metal and marble.
As for material selection, the flooring throughout the space utilizes large light gray stone tiles in a warm tone, enhancing the sense of spaciousness and brightness. Additionally, the interplay of dark piano-lacquered wood grain panels and light-colored timber veneers strikes a harmonious balance between luxury and modern allure within the sumptuous dwelling.
