This project involves renovating a 40-year-old building located on the top floor of a hospital. We undertook structural reinforcement, replaced all the plumbing and wiring and removed the existing layout to create a multifunctional space. Inspired by the sanctity of the lily, is rendered entirely in white. The arched dome not only enhances the space's visual appeal but also represents divine inclusiveness. The design of the cross and linear lighting, inspired by the burning bush, incorporates lighting effects to signify God's love and redemption. This innovative approach creates a solemn and tranquil environment, moving beyond traditional chapel designs. Utilizes eco-friendly, zero-formaldehyde materials to minimize environmental impact and ensure the health and well-being of its users. To ensure the chapel space can accommodate visitors of all ages, accessible design features are integrated into the staircases and stage areas, allowing easy access for wheelchair users and strollers. This thoughtful design approach emphasizes inclusivity and consideration for diverse groups, creating a welcoming and accommodating environment.
