2024 Hsinchu Animation & Comics Festival

The Hsinchu City Government in Taiwan is hosting the first Hsinchu Animation & Comics Festival in 2024, with the theme "Anime Festival."



This event integrated a festival stage, international exhibitions, and Manga Market to create a brand-new celebration for animation enthusiasts. Fans of animation have strong cohesion and passion, building creative worlds through the animated stories they love.



-The "Festival Stage" offers a space for cosplayers and animation idols to show their talents, featuring performances by 41 groups who ignited the animation spirit with music, singing, and dancing.



-The "International Exhibitions" invites 14 animation creators to present a joint exhibition, including works from Taiwan, America, and animated films, showing animation creation's diverse and rich content. The exhibition areas introduce the authors' creative processes, illuminating the creative dreams for animation fan.



-At the "Manga Market," anyone with a pen become a creator! With over 100 creative animation stands from Taiwan, each creator shares and exchanges their creations with fellow. A festival couldn't be without a marketplace of stands.



The exhibition is designed with bright and vivid visual colors to create an infinitely energetic animation space. The entrance features a giant installation with comic elements, allowing visitors to interact and co-create with the concept of "breaking through the Two Dimensions," presenting their own comic stories. Additionally, the exhibition includes a paper airplane message wall, a food map message wall, a signature-drawing wall, and a comic scene photo area, inviting all participants to co-create and build a unique animation world for this moment.
