Dream Squash Academy

Dream Squash Academy, as the official training camp for the Chinese squash team for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, is set to become one of the premier Asian youth squash training bases. Featuring 5 top-tier courts certified by the World Squash Federation (WSF), it aims to provide international-standard training and competition experiences and is capable of hosting world-class events. Its grand opening ceremony will have senior officials from the World and Asian Squash Federations.

Ong Beng Hee, the two-time Asian Games Squash Champion and former US national squash team coach, co-founded the Dream Squash Academy.

The squash courts break tradition with transparent glass walls replacing solid ones, and the deep red color of the walls symbolizes the spirit of the academy. The ground floor has a special physical fitness area that focuses on enhancing strength, coordination and explosiveness to meet professional sports requirements.

Dream Squash Court is cleverly designed to be sunken, breaking away from the typical low utilization of second-floor spaces in Asian venues. It creatively incorporates offices, study rooms, a parent reception area, and a tiered seating area, which integrates multiple functions and perfectly utilizes the second-floor space. In particular, silent study rooms are set up to ensure that young athletes can pursue their sporting dreams without compromising their academics.

Dream Squash Academy cleverly ingeniously utilizes natural light through four transparent strips at the top and floor-to-ceiling windows, achieving equal brightness indoors and outdoors. This significantly reduces daytime artificial lighting usage, setting a new standard for energy efficiency and overturning the traditional reliance on artificial lighting in indoor venues throughout the day. These ingeniously crafted designs collectively create a bright, spacious, and vibrant sports space, providing an ideal growth and training environment for teenagers.

Meanwhile, Dream Squash Academy upholds a green philosophy and uses environmentally friendly materials, contributing to a green sports environment.
