With its rosewood color scheme, the Xiong'an Business Service Center curtain wall project is a perfect example of Han and Tang dynasty design. Through the prism of landscape culture, the design idea "Convergence of Nine and Landscape Pavilion" mixes different space levels with unique design elements.

Visitors are welcomed by a relief aluminum panel flying eave roof and a rain canopy resembling stacked copper honeycomb panels as soon as they enter the business service center. The flying dougong, in particular, is one of the iconic features of ancient Chinese architecture that serves as inspiration for the design. Visitors are greeted with a culturally diverse entry area that combines contemporary materials with traditional Chinese architectural design.

The facade design follows the idea of "interlocking masses, simple curtain walls, and the Grand Lü of the Nine Cauldrons" as one walks around the area. The design interweaves faux wood-framed solids with bamboo-patterned voids through contrasts between solid and void, generating a dynamic visual rhythm through the adaptable arrangement of architectural masses. This pattern encourages a somber but airy, harmonious beauty.

The project's selection of materials also pays respect and gratitude to the local nature. The north and south facades' perforated aluminum panels are designed to resemble the finely woven texture of "reed mats," a specialty of the area. This not only explores the local way of life in great detail but also uses contemporary methods to reduce energy usage and save energy. The entire building complex can cohabit peacefully with the natural surroundings thanks to the dappled light and shadow created by the perforated panels under the sun, exhibiting ecological intelligence and beauty. It also represents the progress of the Baiyangdian reed culture over time and the growth of the Xiong'an New Area.
