The Circle

Interpersonal relationships like a circle, where connections are formed through mutual communication, respect, and support. In this renovation project, we are transforming a library in a secondary school, and the reading room will be open to the public in the evenings. The designer hopes to share this space with the community, allowing the design to have an impact on the community. In the school library, the designer believes that a modern library should not only be a space for books but should also cater to the diverse learning needs of students. Therefore, different areas have been created in the spatial planning, including a relax area, a stepped lecture area, a self-study area, a meeting room, a book area, a discussion area, and a multimedia area. Additionally, the school aims to change the traditional form of the library by integrating technology intelligence with the new library design, catering to the different learning and reading needs of students. Furthermore, The design needs to accommodate the students learning during school hours while also catering to the needs of the public accessing the reading room services. This venue is a multipurpose space available for non-profit organizations to hold activities such as workshops and lectures. The goal is to create a space that promotes community integration, benefiting a wider range of users and contributing to a better society.
