The Encounter of Cross Beams and Four-Leaf Clovers

This case is the renovation of a commercial and residential hotel-style apartment. The floor height of the project is sufficient. However, due to the frame structure, the on-site structural beams and fire sprinklers which limit the floor height and ceiling shape. The original space allocation is rather ambiguous and needs to be re-integrated and designed. Since it is the renovation of a hotel-style apartment, it should not be designed with conventional home decoration methods. It is necessary to create a hotel-like feeling while also retaining the warmth of home. We should adapt to local conditions and combine the actual situation in the design process. The design inspiration comes from the four-leaf clover, which is ingeniously applied to the ceiling of the cross beams in the living room and is combined with the lighting design. In this way, not only is the shape unique, but also the floor height is fully utilized. In view of the structure of the hotel apartment, the walls can basically be modified. Combining the habits of contemporary urban life, the living room is enlarged as much as possible, and the most beautiful floor-to-ceiling window position is reserved for the living room. A large amount of cream coffee-colored wall panels are used, and all the external corners are processed in an arc shape,giving the space a strong sense of extension. With an oversized piece of Prada Green as the finishing touch, it looks particularly noble. At the beginning of the design, the style is positioned as the combination of the currently popular cream style and luxurious hotel style. Therefore, a large amount of marble and cream coffee-colored oil-mixed wall panels are used in the selection of materials, and local green luxury stones are used as embellishments, making the space both simple, warm, and noble, just right.
