Smiling Pacemaker

In the fast-paced digital era, we propose the design concept of the "Smiling Pacemaker", aiming to infuse fresh vitality into the workplace through innovative spatial design. Unlike traditional office spaces that tend to be monotonous and oppressive, we focus on the deep integration of employees’ mental health and corporate culture. Skillfully combining colors, shapes, and interactive experiences, we create a unique space that can inspire smiles and alleviate workplace negativity. This concept not only meets the office needs of the owners but also creates a home-like and warm office environment for employees.

In terms of spatial layout, this project adopts an unprecedented "BOX" concept, which can create diverse and variable grey spaces through the interweaving of boxes with different functions. This layout not only breaks the monotony and closed nature of traditional office spaces but also achieves the separation of dynamic and static areas and efficient circulation within a limited space. We have meticulously planned dynamic and static zones: the dynamic zone on the south side integrates leisure, display, and reception areas, providing a platform for interaction and communication between employees and clients; the static zone on the north side is primarily for office work, ensuring focus and efficiency. Additionally, vertical staircases connect different floors, as to enhance the interaction and unity of the space, which make the entire office area both independent and interconnected, and forma harmonious and layered overall atmosphere.

We have chosen warm yellow as the theme color. This color is not only easy to accept but also inherently possesses a warm and memorable IP attribute. Warm yellow flows through the space, from walls to furniture, from lighting to decorations, ubiquitously conveying warmth and vitality. In terms of form, we utilize the interlocking of boxes and the interplay of solid and void to create a unique effect that blurs the lines between indoors and outdoors. This design softens the boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces. Additionally, the inclined box design adds an element of fun to the space, allowing people to move freely and enjoy the pleasure of exploration.
