Zen House

This design project combining the modern and loft styles gives rise to the delicate textures of space with grey color scheme, and coheres each space by applying design skills. The profound and unforgettable living experience is created by showing the adhered traffic flows, distinct textures of walls, implications of green lifestyle, intriguing kitchen, and creative mind of home.



At the beginning of the design project, given the 2-meter height indoor space limited by the mezzanine, the needs for planning two bathroom were of great challenge to the designer. The cohered traffic flows and inventive dining room and kitchen have integrated the living room and dining room, thus figuring out the issues of space in the dining room.



To overcome these challenges in a more excellent manner, the designer in addition to examining functions and logical ergonomic applies two ceilings that are decorated in the living room, dining room, kitchen, and reading area. The arrangement of ceilings, for one thing, expands the visual scope at the reading area, from the right to the left, to the ventilation furnished at the kitchen. For another, the stylish geometric TV wall designed by computing the logic is extended to the ceiling, and creates in-depth scene of dining island, which is foldable for different needs. For the home on the top floor, the raised floor connected to the balcony is extensively decorated with transparent windows, through which the scattering sunlight and the delicate plants artistically develop an intriguing outdoor view alongside the main wall in the living room.



The creative design ideas borrow the outdoor scenes in the house, in which each space is connected, and functions and styles are harmonized. The charming lifestyle, in an urban jungle, starts from this house.
