Indoor space is the soul of architecture, the connection between people and environment, and the combination of human arts and material civilizations.

This design project proposing the modern light luxury as the principle of style incorporates the garden landscape and the delicate plants adored by the house owner, thus bringing the green atmosphere in the house, and obscuring the boundaries between the indoor and outdoor spaces.

Given the original building with the big windows received too much sunlight that intensely dazzled the residents in their eyes, who could therefore do nothing but to close the windows and pull the curtains so that the indoor space was figuratively isolated from the outdoor environment. To solve these problems, the designer focused on decorating the deck with plants that helped to establish a cozy microclimate. The window shades made of the environmentally-friendly materials and the exquisite roller blinds reduce sun glare, and create the lovely scene of images of trees reflecting on the windows. With regard to construction materials, the walls decorated with, rather than glossy stones, natural wood veneers reduce the reflection of sunlight in the house, where consistently shows the green atmosphere as well.

The gorgeous view on the deck not only represents the leisure interest of life, also expands the sense of space. The growing plants and the changes of daylight make the residents feel the distinct sense of sight and pleasure of life in different seasons. The tiny ecosystem composed of plants creates a comfy microclimate and pleasant air quality that make happen the excellent quality life in the indoor and outdoor spaces, and evidence a successful experiment excellently combining the interior and landscape designs.

The daylight properly scattering in the house spawns the bright, contemporary, and majestic ambience congruously reconciling the natural view of outdoor plants. The greenery views and the collections exhibited in the house artistically transform into the themes and delicate textures of space which signifies a happy life.
