Islands

The project is a renovation of an old dormitory. The name "Islands" is from the meaning that the space is intended to convey. Both the owner and the designer hope that the occupants can realize the mode of interaction in the dormitory, such as collaboration, communication, and gathering, and establish a deeper connection between them so that they can achieve the three good states of "work, life and health".
The project emphasizes comfort design. Modern elements, smooth curves, and simple and clean color blocks reveal an easygoing attitude. This is complemented by a color scheme. The blue symbolizes calmness and serenity is the main vision, embellished with wood grain and art paint. Daylight reaches everyone's heart without hindrance, triggering the resonance of home.
