Heart Ease - Portable AED Rescue System

In emergencies, bystanders can initiate a rescue through their smartphones. The system displays the location and estimated arrival time of the nearest responder on the phone interface, along with map navigation to the patient's location. The AED is portable and designed for easy mounting in public spaces. It has been redesigned with an intuitive interface and screen for enhanced visualization.

This portable AED, measuring just 100 x 100 x 35 mm, uses the Heart Ease integrated software-hardware solution. It connects certified responders with those needing urgent help, enhancing efficiency. Register your AED or CPR certificate on your phone. The system quickly sends rescue alerts within a one-kilometer radius, and AEDs in public spaces ensure rapid deployment when needed.

We created Heart Ease, an integrated software-hardware solution that connects certified emergency responders with individuals in urgent need. By registering your AED or CPR certificate via smartphone, users join a network of local heroes ready to respond quickly to nearby emergencies. When someone collapses nearby, bystanders can activate the rescue through a built-in emergency button on their phone, and the system immediately displays the location and estimated time of arrival of the nearest responder on the caller's phone interface, along with map navigation to the patient's location. The AED’s portable design allows it to be easily placed in a backpack or car back seat and mounted in public areas. Following the operational process, we redesigned the screen and buttons to make operations more intuitive and visually guided, supporting rescuers until the ambulance arrived.
