CSCEC City Tree Mansion, Suzhou

The project is located in Suzhou Huqiu New District, covering an area of 11,345 square meters. Due to its relatively remote location, the surrounding commercial infrastructure is currently underdeveloped, and the original neighborhood was quite deserted. Therefore, designers aim to revitalize the site, and create a vibrant and interactive living space for the community. By significantly giving back to the city, they have created a large, dynamic plaza space. In this expansive area, a whale-themed installation connects the central waterscape, children's activity area, and commercial streets. This vibrant front activity zone will energize the entire block, creating a lively community space and a diverse, interactive shared space that fosters human interaction.



They have redesigned the paving of the commercial street with different curves and circles to create unique commercial spaces. Green "embracing" wooden platforms and "embracing" outdoor sofas under the building eaves transform public spaces through urban micro-renewal, thereby improving the living quality of community residents and establishing a sophisticated neighborhood lifestyle.



Unlike the high-end commercial experience in the front area, they hope that when residents enter the back holiday resort area, they can gradually find peace, isolating themselves from the external noise and busyness. It is as if time itself has stopped in a serene and fluid space.
