In the process of urban renewal, the renovation of old residential quarters involves not only updating building structures but also enhancing residential quality and reshaping urban spaces. This project aims to meticulously redesign entrance spaces to enhance both functionality and aesthetic value, while improving the comfort of residential spaces, thereby creating a livable environment for residents.
The designers conducted in-depth research on the limitations of existing spaces in old residential quarters, particularly focusing on issues such as inadequate lighting and low space utilization in entrance areas. Through innovative design solutions, existing storage spaces were repurposed for everyday clutter storage, significantly enhancing space efficiency and revitalizing the entrance areas with new vitality.
Furthermore, addressing the inconvenience of laundry and drying on the original living room balcony, the design team relocated these functions adjacent to the bedrooms. This not only improved daily operational convenience for residents but also optimized overall space aesthetics and indoor-outdoor connectivity. Integrated design of the living room and dining area creates a more spacious public space, allowing residents to fully enjoy comprehensive north-south ventilation and lighting.
Inspired by the architectural master Le Corbusier, who said, "Space is a silent language that guides people's emotions and experiences through the use of layout and light and shadow," we uphold this philosophy in our project. We aim not only to redefine spatial functionality but also to enhance residents' quality of life and living comfort. We pay tribute to the pioneers whose ideas and innovative spirit inspire us to strive for excellence in every design detail, contributing our wisdom and passion to urban renewal.
Through this comprehensive renovation, we aspire to create a more livable and comfortable home for residents of old residential quarters, contributing our efforts and wisdom to the sustainable development of the city.
