About The Entry

The goddess of the moon collection is inspired by the goddess Changxi in Chinese mythology. Goddess Changxi is in charge of the harmony of Yin and Yang between heaven and earth. She gave birth to twelve daughters, symbolizing the twelve months we known. Each month of the moon will appear in the night sky in different phase, recording the flow of time.

This collection takes the different forms of the moon phase and the harmony of Yin and Yang as the design elements, outlines the base of the moon phase with 18k gold, and is inlaid with white fritillarias and black agates precisely cut into the shapes of different moon phases, presenting an ideal state of harmonious coexistence between heaven and earth. The harmony of Yin and Yang, which is the balance and stability of all things in the universe.

Designer skillfully combines Yin and Yang elements with the shape of the moon, symbolizing the smooth and balanced growth and balance of all things, and the harmonious state between people, society and nature, which is also an important value in Chinese culture.
