Papago Land is currently the first large-scale flower and bird park in China with parrots as the theme. In 2023, NYGDESIGN designed a bird life cycle science exhibition hall for Papago Land.

We hope to use the exhibition form closest to nature to restore the state of birds in nature to the greatest extent. In the overall space design, the color tone extracts the color of the mountains, rocks and trees in Xiandu as the main theme, supplemented by pink symbolizing new life and the color of bird feathers, creating an experience space like a jungle. At the same time, bird science knowledge is combined with interesting and vivid interactive devices to show the unique characteristics of bird species.

Throughout the exhibition area, we control the number of screens and electronic elements, hoping to use more five-sense interactive methods to allow the audience to intuitively feel and understand bird knowledge. We integrate environmentally friendly materials and cutting-edge technologies, use recycled ocean board materials, plus screen printing technology, simulate bird habits, and use multi-sensory interactive devices and delicate hand-painted to allow the audience to intuitively understand the entire life cycle of birds from gestation, birth, growth, death and even extinction. Through light interaction, the audience can understand birds from multiple angles of hearing, vision, and touch, listen to the calls of different birds, feel the physiological structure and habits of birds, observe the structure of bird eggs and the process of breaking the shell, and can also freeze in the mouth of the giant installation Great Pelican to feel the magical physiological structure of the bird with the largest mouth in the world. We especially considered a series of questions that children would have about birds from a child's perspective, and set up a colloquial Q&A hanging above the space to answer their questions in an interesting way.

We hope to build an extremely interesting immersive space. After the audience has visited the exhibition space and learned about the knowledge of birds from birth to death, it can awaken the audience to pay more attention to birds and conserve birds.
