Quehua Peak Scenery

Located in Jinan City, Shandong Province, the project is designed with the concept of "Half Hidden Landscape, Oriental Secret Garden", which integrates the thousand years culture of Jinan City with contemporary life based on the modernism and oriental artistic conception to create an innovative paradigm of mountain living. The design integrates the traditional oriental contexts of poetry and painting, system and etiquette, and humanities culture, utilizes modern minimalist composition and natural materials to interpret a new narrative space of oriental landscape. Besides, the design takes full advantage of the site's resources, leaning the mountains to shape the form. On the basis of restoring the original site's vegetation and ecology, the waterfalls, terraces, sunken space and other forms are used to eliminate the height difference between the inside and outside of the site, the overlapping space permeates and integrates nature and the life, to build an immersive, ordered and resort-style new landscape space experience.
The design emphasizes professional integration, fitting the artistic conception of mountains and forests into daily life through multi-disciplinary cooperation, bringing distant mountain scenery into the garden, and expressing the infinite oriental mood in the bounded space: "encountering water, looking at the mountains, touring the forests and meeting the guests", to interpret a scroll painting of life that is appreciable, walkable, tourable, and liveable that beyond time and space.
