This is a contemporary and minimalist residential design that combines modern aesthetics with furniture, inspired by Australia's concept of cultural integration and incorporating natural elements. The house primarily features simple, natural wooden materials and mineral paints in neutral tones, seamlessly blending with classic furniture to create a tranquil and harmonious atmosphere. The homeowners, both architect and interior designer, have spent over twenty years living and working in New Zealand and Australia, deeply influenced by foreign cultures and perspectives. Emphasizing the lifestyle pace and coexistence with nature in the southern hemisphere, the design team flawlessly implements this philosophy in the project, particularly in interpreting the Australian lifestyle philosophy of "laid-back, open, and fun," which becomes the design core. Through the renovation of a fifty-year-old house, from the designer's perspective, family life, users habits, and functional aspects should all return to comfort and fundamental living needs.
