Chinese Exhibition Area in Cyprus International Book Fair

The Cyprus International Book Fair is themed “Humans and Nature,” with a booth design aimed at showcasing the harmonious coexistence of people and nature. Set in a park, the fair features an easygoing atmosphere with trees, greenery and water features. The design draws inspiration from Chinese market culture, using lightweight materials, and incorporating elements like Chinese bamboo groves, pandas and Cyprus flamingos to highlight cultural diversity and attract international visitors for photo opportunities.

The exhibition area includes sections for publishers, premium books, cultural experiences, sales, digital experiences (tea ceremonies, shadow puppetry, printmaking, fan painting), Hanfu experiences, and copyright negotiations. Natural elements dominate the design, with extensive use of wood and greenery to create a nature-inspired ambiance. The display areas feature varied heights of bookshelves and stands, blending books with natural landscapes.

A multimedia display area showcases videos and stories about natural ecology, allowing visitors to experience the close connection between humans and nature. The color scheme uses fresh greens and earth tones, with warm, comfortable lighting to create a serene reading environment. This design aims to raise awareness and love for nature, encouraging people to protect the natural world.
