Sunlight in the Steel Forest

In the design of the villa "Sunlight in the Steel Forest," we adhered to the core concepts of "ambiance, Zen, and indirect lighting," striving to create a Japanese-inspired artistic home with a view at every step, bringing you warmth and tranquility in the concrete jungle of the city. Beyond the essential living spaces such as the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom, we have also added an elevator, garden, and terrace.
While preserving the original load-bearing structure, we made significant modifications, and the direction of the stairs has been adjusted to optimize the overall movement flow. From the entrance to the first floor, and up to the outdoor space on the third floor, each step is in harmony with the surrounding environment, truly embodying the "a view at every step" design philosophy. The living room has a hollow floating design for the TV backdrop, enhancing interaction between the multifunctional area and the living-dining room, while also making the space feel more open and bright.
To minimize environmental impact, we selected materials that meet the ENF-level environmental standards and used new materials such as PU stone on the exterior, effectively reducing resource consumption and environmental pollution. Additionally, wall panels and some decorative materials are designed to be recyclable, further alleviating pressure on natural resources.
The design style blends modern Chinese and Japanese elements, aiming to provide busy urban elites with a warm home environment, which is distinct from the previously popular business styles.
Having endured the pandemic, people cherish the time spent with their families more. The warmth of home has become an indispensable comfort in everyone’s heart. No matter what challenges arise, this place will always be a warm and sturdy haven.
