CROWN VILLA'S MEMBER CLUB

CROWN VILLA'S MEMBER CLUB is an exploration premised on the contemplation and deconstruction of the Song Dynasty, a dialogue bridging tradition and modernity. It embodies a consideration and an overlap and reconstruction of the old and the new. With this intriguing theme, we aim to reinterpret classical gardens using contemporary materials and techniques, investigating the potential for design to create spatial narratives along the timeline. By adopting the role of a "preposition," we subtly yet reverently manifest a contemporary interior space imbued with the essence of a garden stroll.
Through this project, they anchor their design in the Song Dynasty, seamlessly integrating the aesthetics of Song-era gardens into the spatial framework and circulation paths. They eschew mere symbolic replication, instead extracting elements through the modern material translation, capturing the essence without mimicking the form.
