Peranakan style - Residential

This condominium unit resembles the rich cultural heritage of the Peranakan, or Baba-Nyonya community. Blends of Baba-nyonya aesthetics with modernity, this design creates a space that is vibrant and modern.

With the walls using teak wallpaper along with wood of the traditional Chinese furniture, are adorned with intricately patterned Peranakan tiles, their vivid colours and geometric designs immediately catching the eye. These tiles, a signature of Baba-Nyonya homes, serve as a vibrant introduction to the house’s rich design narrative.

To create a continuous and sleek look, door to bedroom is designed continuously with the featured wall design to work as a hidden door. Dongyang divider with glazed glass partitioned the living and dining area, while keeping the area to look spacious.

Upon entering, guests are greeted by a grand foyer that showcases the hallmarks of Baba-Nyonya design. The floor is adorned with intricately patterned Peranakan tiles, their vivid colors and geometric designs immediately catching the eye. These tiles, a signature of Baba-Nyonya homes, serve as a vibrant introduction to the house’s rich design narrative. The walls are painted in warm, inviting hues, creating a backdrop that highlights the dark, polished wood of the traditional Chinese furniture.

In the living room, the blend of cultures becomes even more apparent. Stunning moquette armchairs takes center stage. The armchairs' luxurious silk touch of modern comfort while paying homage to the high class comfort. Beside the sofa, a modern and simple tea table

The dining area is a feast for the senses, combining the elegance of Chinese craftsmanship with the lively spirit of Baba-Nyonya design. A long, modern designed marble topped dining table dominates the room. Above the table, a magnificent pendant light reflecting the eclectic fusion of modernity and Peranakan.

In the bedroom, tranquility reigns with a careful balance of design elements. Antique bedroom frame with touch of peranakan tiles with the aluminium pleated wardrobe offers both comfort and visual delight.
