Casablanca: A modern ode to Spanish Colonial design. Inspired by architectural splendour of the past, this project breathes new life into Transitional design. Nestled alongside Western Australia’s iconic Swan River, it embodies meticulous craftsmanship and locally sourced bespoke furniture, offering a contemporary interpretation of timelines elegance, setting a precedent for innovative interior design.

From inception to completion of Project Casablanca, Sherwood Design was privileged to facilitate the juxtaposition between contemporary and traditional, resulting in a Spanish Transitional aesthetic with European sensibilities.

Our clients’ desire for a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere throughout the grand span of the home was met with a balance between communal gathering spaces and intimate retreats, accommodating the diverse needs of the client.

The project met the client’s expectation for luxurious living with an extensive range of tailored furniture and cabinetry that has been designed and crafted locally, resulting in a home that is genuinely one of a kind.

Due to the client's discerning eye for aesthetics, the lavish art displayed throughout Casablanca was no mere afterthought. In fact, the art was woven into the interior with much consideration and curation, and each piece commands your attention.
