KOKUYO Central Station at ORGATEC TOKYO

With the message “Let's embark on a journey in search of the next Workstyle,” KOKUYO presented a new world view for its customers.
Based on the concept of a "journey" toward the ideal Workstyle for the customers, the KOKUYO Central Station was created as the starting point of the journey.
Using KOKUYO's furniture brands "Any way", "SAIBI", and "DAYS OFFICE", the exhibit consisted of three examples of the next Workstyle presented in the form of a train.
The three brand-train was waiting to depart for the different Workstyles:
The "Any way Liner" presented a Workstyle focusing on creative collaboration;
"SAIBI Twilight" presented a Workstyle of sensations that enhances the senses with extraordinary perspectives; and
"DAYS Bistro" presented a Workstyle of diversity shared with people with different tastes and preferences.
This exhibit aimed to introduce and allow visitors to experience KOKUYO's Workstyle vision by riding the different brand-based trains.
As the expression of the company's own work style ideal, each brand and its "destination" style were represented in the train interior.
Any way Liner’s display was titled "Acceleration of Creation" and was expressed with a furniture arrangement and sign lighting based on the motif of bullet train seats.
SAIBI Twilight emphasized the state of slow immersion in the senses, expressed through fragrance, music, and a presentation reminiscent of a Japanese garden.
DAYS Bistro featured interaction through food and fun by creating a dining car-like space.
Each of these used a different approach with a mechanism to communicate the charm of the furniture.
To visualize a long journey with a sense of anticipation, the windows of the trains and station were designed to reflect the scenery, while the train heads had the reflection of the sky on them, and once inside the trains, the scenery was composed as if the train cars continued endlessly.
