About The Entry

This project centers around the modular cube, leveraging its versatility to create dynamic, adaptable spaces for institutional sustainability use. Guided by the "less is more" philosophy, I design functional spaces that maximize utility without unnecessary complexity. Each cube includes essential institutional areas such as public spaces, green roofs, libraries, activity rooms, classrooms, and exhibition spaces, ensuring every square foot serves a purpose.

Utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, I digitally represent the cubes' physical and functional characteristics, ensuring innovative and practical designs that reduce construction time and costs while enhancing efficiency. Based on the BIM functions that I created, this modular cube design can be smoothly applied to old building remodeling. My BIM innovation greatly enhances the feasibility of implementing this design, especially in the installation of my BIM plumbing and electricity automation calculations in the renovation of old buildings.

The modular cubes, applying the pioneering approach that leveraging BIM to visualize and analyze the environmental impact of materials and energy systems, selecting eco-friendly materials, optimize natural light and ventilation, incorporating green roofs, solar panels, rainwater harvesting systems, and ensuring that buildings and infrastructure met rigorous environmental and health benchmarks, thereby enhancing the overall quality of urban living.

Through the modular cube concept, BIM technology, and sustainable design principles, I aim to redefine institutional architecture by creating spaces that are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and environmentally responsible for over-crowded urban cities.
