In mid-2019, we were invited back to Taipei for our first on-site inspection, which is on a regular working day evening.

Located on a high-rise in Xinyi District, Taipei City, we overlooked the rooftops of nearby city buildings, sprawling Yangming Mountains, cityscape, Sun Yat sen Memorial Hall Square Park, and the most famous Taipei city landmark 101. After the sky blacked over gradually, lights twinkled and shone nearby.

At night, the whole serene inside space is enveloped by the city lights of Taipei.

At first glance, I saw the owner dressed in deep and dark colors, a steady filmmaker, low saturation is his favorite, without showing off.

I personally love all nature and present it in the most natural way possible within the space, allowing the space to present a certain static state, with the intention of giving vitality to the city lights in this space. The Guanyin stone and the gray colored multi film floor allow for the feet, who are most frequently in contact with the space, to feel their breath freely.

The space base and walls are coated with a large number of Yujiali tree steel brushes, highlighting the natural traces that exist in the space. The process of grinding ink is slow，which gradually becomes rich, smooth and turns black. Experience the city's light and fire in a peaceful place, enjoy the tranquility, the hustle and bustle of the city, and the annoyance of work. As Su Shi said, anything else is superfluous.
