This stunning 60 sq m Scandinavian-inspired apartment, filled with art objects, showcases the results of a thoughtful remodel. The redesign maximises the modest footprint, creating an open-plan layout that feels spacious and airy.

The remodel combines the kitchen, dining, and living areas into one cohesive space. The kitchen features sleek pink cabinetry and white countertops. One wall, free of upper cabinets, displays a continuous run of blush pink tiles, creating an airy feel with minimalist floating shelves for everyday items. Scandinavian-inspired pendant lights with white dome shades illuminate the workspace.

In the dining area, a rustic wooden table is surrounded by wishbone-style chairs. A copper pendant light and a large, abstract modern art piece add visual interest without disturbing the dining atmosphere.

The living room features a compact grey sofa and a unique cylindrical rattan cabinet. Large windows and gradient pastel curtains create a soft, dreamy quality. A large modern art painting compliments the lightness of the room and the piece in the dining area. Lush plants, from a statuesque fiddle-leaf fig to trailing pothos, infuse the space with nature.

The bedroom's transformation includes a statement wavy pink mirror and asymmetrical side tables. A large, minimalist art piece enhances the room's serene atmosphere.

The bathroom, united with the former lavatory and corridor, offers a surprisingly spacious and luxurious feel. It accommodates both a bathtub and shower enclosure, featuring a circular mirror with a brass frame and an elegant pink and white colour scheme with hanging plants cascading from the ceiling.

This remodel demonstrates how a compact space can be transformed through thoughtful design choices, a cohesive colour palette, and a focus on maximising light and openness. The integration of modern art, uniquely shaped mirrors, and abundant plant life elevates the space, creating a home that is both stylish and deeply personal. The result is a harmonious blend of Scandinavian design principles with personal touches, making the most of every square metre.
