Plié Wall Sys

During the almost two-year research and development of creating the Plié Wall Sys panelling system, the aim was to invent something outrageous. The result is a unique pattern-based panelling paired with the innovative Plié technology, that enables to produce foldable shelves to arrange and rearrange the wall-cover as free as you like. The Plié Wall Sys gives the experience of the final creation into the hands of the user.

Panels are made of veneered plywood, that is perforated in such a way that fittings lock securely into their surface without the need for any additional parts or tools. Perforations are placed in a pattern that permits fittings to be installed in various arrangements or order. Shelves are fabricated of the special Plié material that consists of two rigid layers to both sides of a flexible core. Various types of veneer and different colors of the flexible felt layer can personalize the product, or it can be ordered with unique graphic design. The architect team behind the brand can also help to realize individual solutions. We developed a brand new technology where we join printing with traditional carpenter finishing techniques. Based on the raster image of the surfaces there are four individual patterns that fit all panel types and every design has three color mutations. Each pattern and color looks different on each veneer types, so it gives endless variations.
