Steep Light

The site is an old apartment, and the project is named "Steep Light," inspired by the bright natural illumination achieved through the renovation. Just as one would brew a drink named after light, the interplay of light and shadow weaves through the interior, with a blend of Scandinavian, American, and Japanese styles setting the tone, infusing warmth and softness into the living space. The project combines modernity with coziness, allowing residents to experience a sense of safety and belonging amidst the dance of light and shadow.
The overall design centers on family interaction. The design team removed the TV wall, replacing it with araes for music and parent-child interaction, infusing every corner with vitality. The open-plan layout breaks down spatial limitations and fosters connections among family members. The balance between functionality and aesthetics is reflected in every detail. From the curved desk to the functional storage designs, the project demonstrates a deep concern for enhancing the quality of life.
