In today's world, electronic devices have brought people closer together than

ever before. The potential for communication is limitless and unstoppable. However, there is still a part of people's minds that yearn for peace and stability. To reach that peaceful inner island, to rest and recuperate. That is what people are longing for.

This design will achieve inner peace and stability by using a restrained “wabi-sabi” style as the base for the entire space. The space is deliberately unadorned, embracing the natural imperfections of the materials and the soothing effect of muted colours.

The calm wood colour creates shadow inside the space, a retreating vision, and extends the scale of the space. The light-coloured mineral paint creates a charming three-dimensional silhouette that changes with the light.

The use of smooth, large-area cuts enhances the stability of the spatial atmosphere, while rounded, curved surfaces weaken the sharpness of the interlocking volumes. The result is a gentle and harmonious overall spatial expression.

As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a floating cabinet that serves a practical purpose and creates a light, relaxing ambience. The grille adds a natural touch to the space and removes the need for a bathroom door. The end view is illuminated by a sharp-shaped light fixture that emits a soft light source, creating an intriguing and suspenseful effect.

The living room area sets the tone for the entire space, showcasing wooden floors and shutters, off-white mineral-coated walls with recessed stone accents. The interplay of light and shadow makes a striking contrast, showcasing the heterogeneous materials in their different yet complementary appearances.

The reeded glass sliding door is the ideal solution for separating the cooking space without blocking the permeability of the space. The stone texture in the bathroom is designed to create a relaxing and calming experience for the mind and body.

The bedrooms are crafted and designed with the goal of tranquility and stability, featuring dark wood tones for complete peace of mind and rattan elements to inject a unique atmosphere of simplicity and relaxation.
