Refined Classic

The project, named "Refined Classic," draws its inspiration from a contemporary aesthetic infused with technological perception. The name stems from the extension of metal-styled collectibles within the space. The owner has a strong appreciation for the works of Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama, particularly his use of metal materials to create elegant curves that break the rigid impression of mechanical forms. The interior design is developed based on this stylistic foundation, resulting in a sleek and refined image.

The design centers around a monochromatic palette of black, white, and gray. The designer created a multifunctional metal wall that seamlessly combines the areas for resting, working, and dining. The folds and shadows cast by the metal produce a dazzling visual effect, captivating passersby and establishing it as the core element of the home due to its multifunctional nature. The gray-toned panel behind the sofa acts as a perfect transitional element, integrating various styles of furnishings and a minimalist white study room into the limited space. Finally, the use of L-shaped lighting strips extends the visual dimensions, constructing a home that resembles a curated collection.
