This landscape design represents a fusion of contemporary art from Beijing, China, and reflects the artistic impact of modern aesthetics with the historical significance of the capital city. It further delivers an experience of residing in nature and enjoying luxurious quality. The entrance area is structured around the three-entry gate pattern of the Bedchamber of the Palace of Peaceful Longevity. the design elements of the entrance pavement and gate decoration inspired from classical styles. The modern reinterpretation of the arch structure at the gatehead leads to a symmetrical and ceremonial entrance, while the intricate details inspired by Beijing's heritage elements deliver a sense of exquisite luxury.
The upper and lower heavenly light areas adjacent to the back lake provide an ideal setting for enjoying the lake view, where the horizon of water and sky merges, allowing visitors to appreciate the scenery beneath a golden dome in comfort. The garden is abundant with flowers and trees, offering an optimum sight line. The West Garden waterfront parlor reproduces the banquet features of the Palace of Peaceful Longevity. The Apricot Spring Pavilion is built by a mountain, the Four-cornered Pavilion is encircled by an apricot forest, while the Pine Breeze Waterfront Parlor serves as a gathering spot beneath the pines.
Additionally, there is a designated area for viewing fish, where the spatial concept is well-defined, thus creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. Bitong Study Room offers leisurely scenes where rocks, flowers, trees, and courtyard walls are seamlessly integrated. The green spaces between the residences are primarily landscaped, offering a main activity area suitable for relaxation and hosting guests, allowing individuals to either enjoy the forest or take a seat on the platform. The entire project adeptly combines classical elements with modern design, thus delivering a distinctive landscape experience.
