About The Entry

Many of us shake our legs without thinking—a habit often seen as pointless, even distracting. But what if this “bad habit” could actually be useful? Research shows that leg shaking burns calories through repetitive up-and-down movement. Inspired by this, I created a device that turns leg-shake energy into electricity, which then visualizes how much “fat” you’ve burned.

This gadget is perfect for anyone aiming to lose weight while they work, study, or just sit around. With each shake, it tracks your progress, so you can see in real time how much you’re burning just by fidgeting. For those of us stuck in desks all day, it’s also a fun way to stay active and improve blood circulation.

So, a small, often-ignored habit is reimagined as a motivational tool—turning leg shakes into tiny steps toward better health and fitness.
