Qingdao SIIC Center

The project is located in the core area of ​​Laoshan, Qingdao, and consists of two 201.8-meter twin towers. Among them, Tower 1 has two five-star hotels— MGM and Diaoyutai. Tower 2 is an intelligent Grade A office building. The architectural concept is inspired by "treasure boxes". Each tower is made up of five treasure boxes that are stacked to create a "higher" shape, conveying the artistic conception of traditional Chinese creations. Continuing the design concept of the treasure box, the lighting design at night tried to explore the different image from day time, making each treasure box as a unit, creating a visually floating three-dimensional effect. The south side of the podium is connected to a large public square, which hosts the annual beer festival, which is an important festival venue. The entire building is backed by a mountain and faces the sea, and it is next to the Shilaoren Beach. The geographic location add up the value of this project, a landmark surround by great nature and is able to gather people here for festival.
