In to the Darkness

When I was a kid, I always got scared by the dark hallway in the old apartment buildings but also couldn’t help to be intrigued by the mysterious nature of it. Anything could happen in the darkness and it really depends on your imagination. While creating this piece, I was largely inspired by Hong Kong movies and Japanese animation back in 90s. I also combined some of the Chinese folktales and myths into the piece.
