MOUSE LIGHT FUN

In Chinese culture, twelve Zodiac animals rotate to represent each year in the lunisolar calendar.
For the 2020 lantern festival, Rat is the Zodiac animal to celebrate.

Light and shadow- the two essential elements in a lantern, kindle the universally shared experience
of a child’s play in the discovery and exploration of light and shadow.

With Ximending district’s unique pedestrian flow strategically integrated into our design, we injected a dose of magic into the street lights
and created "Mouse Light Fun"! Passerby surprised to find themselves turned into a mouse by their shadows upon the lights,
shifting the typical lantern viewing mode to joyfully engaging in a play with the shadow.
Under the light, everyone was once again, the child that dances to his or her own shadow. Rewriting a fresh pedestrian space experience.
