The design inspiration for this project comes from the consideration of the harmonious coexistence between urban modernization and the natural environment of the project location. Nanshan District is not only a hub for high-tech development but also closely connected to the sea and mountains, offering abundant natural resources. This balance between the city and nature allowed the designer to incorporate modern minimalist geometric lines to convey a sense of urban technology. At the same time, the use of luxurious natural stone materials and warm tones brings out the comfort and tranquility of nature. This creates a living environment where residents can enjoy the dynamic energy of the city while also experiencing a peaceful retreat. In the design of this project, the designer sought to seamlessly blend nature with modern technology to create a truly distinctive spatial experience. By using abundant natural materials such as stone and wood, the design enhances warmth and texture, while incorporating modern metallic details and clean geometric lines. This combination creates a strong atmosphere, balanced with the sophistication and technological aura of an urban setting. This design not only reflects the unique "urban oasis" character of Nanshan District but also offers residents a living environment that balances warmth and avant-garde style, providing a space full of charm and character. The fast-paced urban lifestyle of Shenzhen has prompted the designer to consider both functionality and spatial layout in this project. The public areas are not just passageways or recreational zones for residents; they are also spaces for socializing and connection. Therefore, the design blends functionality with aesthetic appeal by incorporating relaxation and reading areas, and an open-plan layout to enhance social interaction and engagement. This approach creates a balanced atmosphere of both interaction and comfort. Unlike the typical single-purpose spaces found in the market, the public areas of Phase II of Runxi Place place greater emphasis on community and social experiences. Thoughtful layout design, ergonomic furniture, and inviting spaces encourage residents to relax, converse, and enjoy social activities.
