Undertaking a mixed-use campus expansion spanning 390,000 square feet, the university placed paramount importance on enhancing student life in Atlanta, GA. This project integrated functional university programming with the aesthetics of a five-star resort, encompassing university housing, dining, entertainment, and fitness. Grounded in the goal of fostering personal growth, creativity, and community engagement, the design solution is imbued with features that enrich student life.

Aligned with the university's objectives, the project aims to establish a mixed-use development fostering pedestrian connectivity and a well-defined campus identity. It strives to optimize outdoor experiences through student courtyards, sidewalks, and a rooftop pool. The design ethos revolves around curating a comprehensive university experience within a singular, dynamic location.

The main design challenge of the project was to promote occupant well-being. Solutions included: intentional spatial planning, the use of abundant natural light, and strategic integration with the surrounding landscapes. In doing so, the architecture fosters a sense of connection and belonging for all who inhabit this dynamic space. This design solution epitomizes the project's goal of creating a dynamic and inclusive campus environment conducive to personal growth, creativity, and community engagement.

Completed during the 2022-2023 academic year, the design unfolds across two interconnected structures. The development includes state-of-the-art academic classrooms spanning 27,000 square feet. A versatile outdoor courtyard fosters social gatherings and events, complemented by a dedicated bike path promoting sustainable transportation options.
