Scandinavia streamlines complexity, rejecting extravagance and flamboyance in favor of understated elegance and meticulous craftsmanship to renovate the existing villa. The integration of ample natural light with the Nordic minimalist aesthetic ensures a cozy and serene living environment for the residents.
The project eschews the clutter of complex elements, instead employing a minimalist approach on each floor to embody the principle of "form follows function." The basement maximizes the use of available space, utilizing a spiral staircase to seamlessly transition between levels and enhance the three-dimensional feel of the area. On the second floor, a bold move involves the complete removal of primary walls, shunning traditional partitions in favor of cabinets and soft furnishings to clearly define and distinguish different functional zones. This reduction in walls not only allows for an abundance of natural light to flood the interior but also contributes to a more open, breathable space. Furthermore, it enriches the simplicity of the room's design with dynamic light and shadow effects, offering an enhanced visual experience. The fifth floor boasts a specialized garden area, meticulously designed to foster a serene and peaceful ambiance, catering to the homeowners' desire for relaxation and rejuvenation.
The exterior is adorned by greenery and the interior adopts natural stone and wooden chairs. This creates a seamless connection that immerses residents in the nature and reflects a commitment to sustainable development. With its minimalist shape and well-organized circulation, the Scandinavia creates a warm, understated, and tranquil atmosphere. This allows busy homeowners to enjoy a peaceful and comfortable living experience upon returning home, ultimately improving their quality of life.
