Lars Huang “FUN! ONLY” Concert Tour

Lars Huang’s concert title “FUN! ONLY”, has the meaning of no entry except happiness in Chinese. Video games are a key concept of this tour. Lars is set to be the Director of the “Happiness Manufacturing Bureau”. He invites players who are facing multiple stressors to the Bureau. Lars and all players are teammates, and they need to collaborate in order to beat every challenge. After leveling up, in the end when they successfully enter the core of the Bureau, the happy energy can be switched on and spread widely.

To incorporate these concepts, the stage is meant to be a place for sharing happiness. Installations that represent energy are highly necessary, so a sphere-shaped LED is designed to be a crucial happy energy source.

In terms of the structure, the stage installations can be vertically lifted, as well as opened and closed. These variations appear to match the narrative of performance in different chapters. At the center, the H-shape stage installation can be raised, lowered, and tilted. Together with diverse mechanical changes, the audio-visual enjoyment can be brought to fans to the greatest extent, so that an indoor stadium can resemble an outdoor space through stage design.

Another highlight of the stage comes from the 43-meter ultra-wide curved screen. Unlike traditional stages where two PGMs are hanging on both sides of the stage, we take the courage to design an integrated curved screen. Meanwhile, with the support of 600 lighting instruments, a more thorough and varied visual presentation is delivered.
