Smart Police Station

By 2030 Dubai Police’s Smart Plan is to provide completely virtual services access for the public, They created walk-in and drive-through stations.

The concept is to create a virtual police station that can be found near in most public residences and it provides criminal services, traffic services, certificates & permits, and most importantly social services.

The simple and modern design was based on technology, as you enter the station you notice the elements speak to you.

Firstly, I need to explain the main element or the design which is the LED screen, it was created to guide you virtually.

So, let’s say you came for a specific service, first you would go to the welcome screen, put your ID in and choose your service. the LED screen will guide you to the area that will provide you with the service.

That area is provided through the rooms that are found in the smart police station, there is a special kiosk that is connected to the main police station, in case you wanted to talk directly to a police representative.

The rooms are equipped with the newest technology in virtual interaction, it also provides privacy throughout the semitransparent automatic doors.

The main concept to SPS is creating an environment that attracts the public through the element of its design.

The stations are not just for specific services, the interior is designed to make you interact with it.

Each SPS has a unique design, they share some ideas but are special in their own way.

Usually, the main activity sets them apart, some have a virtual driving simulator the was designed by McLaren and others have a treadmill in the middle of the station.

But also the design focused on stimulating the senses, through the different textures and actives.
