Lakeside Image Landscape Design

The landscape design responds to Zhengzhou's urban cultural history, utilizing an "experience + scene" model that integrates lake water scene into the garden design, enriching it with cultural context and dreams. The design employs straight lines to convey spatial order and reflects the theme of "the charm of literati life, living by the water," inspired by the traditional academy's organized layout. The design vision caters to urbanites' desire for a relaxed lifestyle, while elements like grilles, tree shadows, rippling water, and scattered ponds enhance the artistic quality of the space. Incorporating avant-garde landscape design approaches, the project reflects both the future possibilities and the historical essence of Zhengzhou. The interplay between time and space presents challenges in the design process.

Design elements draw inspiration from water, bamboo slips, and ink splashes, blending soft, flowing forms into diverse landscape spaces, colors, and textures. This approach seamlessly merges landscape, culture, and architecture, injecting life into the site. The design prioritizes both two-dimensional composition and three-dimensional spatial distribution, showcasing exquisite symmetry and depth while continuing the academy's legacy.

The entrance features a wall inspired by bamboo slips, while a water feature sculpture of flying book pages flanked by symmetrical fountains creates a welcoming atmosphere. Upon entry, visitors experience a blend of the academy's humanistic essence and modern aesthetics. The academy embodies Zhengzhou's cultural spirit, with traditional elements woven throughout the residential area, providing spiritual nourishment for contemporary life. Straight lines delineate functional areas, harmonizing with the gentle curves of water to create varied landscapes. The space primarily serves leisure, with plants forming semi-private areas that foster tranquility. The design balances luxury with elegance, merging scholarly refinement with modern elements, evoking the subtle aroma of books in a reading corner. By introducing water into the garden and infusing dreams into the scenery, the design cultivates a scholarly ambiance, resulting in an elegant courtyard.
