In the initial stage of the design, through in-depth research on classic Song Dynasty calligraphy, painting and relevant garden works, we realized the wisdom contained in the ancient "garden-making on paper" and it’s significant meaning for exploring Song Dynasty aesthetics. During the design process, we extracted the essence of Song charm and adhered to the aesthetic principles of "naturalness, simplicity and implicitness", making the landscape possess both artistic beauty and a sense of life, presenting the unique charm and cultural deposits of Song Dynasty gardens. Eventually, a mansion and courtyard landscape was created, which takes nature as the narrative carrier and can be appreciated by both refined and popular tastes.
