This case spans from the sail-shaped architecture to the square landscape, and extends to the indoor flowing riverside, with the soft decoration orchestrating a reception journey for an art ark, enhancing the cohesive design context of the entire project. The design is rooted in the local mountains, waterways, and cultural heritage of Wuhu, drawing inspiration from the imagery of "Turtledove spreading its wings" and "Sails setting off on the river". It encapsulates the poetic and romantic essence of this city under the theme "Time Imprint · Voyage Seeking Scenic Views", aiming to create a new living scenario and craft a blueprint for the present and future of Wuhu Jiangbei New Area, transforming ideals into tangible and perceivable human experiences. The entire sales center, from the model display area to the negotiation area, is located in a space with a lofty 11-meter ceiling. Typically, soft furnishings focus on the lower half of the space, which can often make the design appear flat or lacking in layers. To address this, the designer chose to position the suspended light installation “Brilliant Light” centrally in the space, designing it to follow the sloped ceiling. The inspiration for this piece comes from Wuhu’s “Ten-Mile River Bay,” a city icon representing the fusion of mountain and water in the riverside landscape. The installation’s undulating wave patterns and globe-like bulbs symbolize the Yangtze River, evoking a sense of protection and connection to the city, while also enveloping the space in a dreamlike atmosphere. Additionally, the architectural sail-like form of the building influenced the segmentation of the glass curtain wall. A large area of glass is concentrated around the sofa seating area. Considering the impact of natural light on people, but without obstructing the view, the designer selected semi-transparent curtains that regulate light and shadow, enhancing both comfort and the view. In terms of environmental friendliness, the soft furnishings, lighting fixtures, and decorations in this project are all sourced from sustainable civilian products. If the sales center is later transformed into a club or community neighborhood center, these products can be reused without causing waste.
