Inspired by the overlapping patterns formed by silver fan leaves under sunlight, this screen showcases an elegant interplay of layers and transparency. The fan surfaces are crafted from sinamay, a natural fiber dyed using plant-based pigments. Through material experimentation, it was discovered that sinamay molded in high humidity (above 50%) tended to deform. To address this, natural lacquer was used for stabilization, enhancing the material's resistance to moisture while adding durability.

The sinamay fan surfaces, arranged in layered formations, create a striking black-and-white gradient. The degree of transparency can be adjusted by opening or closing the fan panels, allowing users to customize the interplay of light and shadow. Modular design enables the fans to be assembled into varying heights and arrangements, adapting seamlessly to different spaces and environments.

All components are detachable, ensuring ease of transport and reducing shipping costs. This innovative design combines functionality with aesthetic appeal, serving as a flexible solution for space division while maintaining visual continuity.
